When you are washing your hair wash your brush and comb with your shampoo. How does one get off dried on hairspray off a hair brush or curling iron?
Use a cloth and water it will take it off
rubbing alcohol and hot water
scrape it off, or use a warm washcloth and wipe it off.
scrap it off the curling iron and the brush maybe harder to do this. Throw it out and buy a new one.
I have found that you may be able to use more of the hairspray to remove it from the brush and iron. Basically, liberally spray the item with the hair spray and scrub it with a good thick paper towel. This works with some paints and glues, it may work with the iron and brush.

I hope this helps. Good luck.
Try soaking the brush, pulling all the hair out, and using a toothpick or something similar in size to scrape off the hairspray.

For the curling iron, take a damp (not dripping!) paper towel and rub at it until it comes off. (make sure the curling iron is cold!)

If that doesnt work, heat up the curling iron, take a thick cotton towel, and rub it. It shouldn't burn the towel if you keep it moving, just don't leave it sitting on a certain part of the towel for more then a few seconds!
