How to get rid of head lice in your hair brushes?

Oh my gosh.

throw out all your hair thing in the house, head bands, hats, brushes.

get a lice kit from the drug store and meticulously go through your, and everyone in your household's heads!

seriously.

wash ALL your bed linens and clothes, even if they are folded and clean now, you need to wash them in the HOTTEST water you can.

also, use a spray to kill the bugs and eggs on your furniture, as well as vacuuming the furniture.

lice can be SO hard to get rid of but if you clean everything perfectly the first time, you won't have to do it again!!!How to get rid of head lice in your hair brushes?
u should have all your hair brushes and combs put in some bleach soak it for a while that should do it !!!How to get rid of head lice in your hair brushes?
Head lice live on humans and don't often spread this way. A hair strand could have an egg attached which is unlike to hatch if it get cold away from a human body.

If you want to keep your brushes just pull out the hair from your brush and wash it under running warm water with a little shampoo.

This is not an INFECTION All that advice to boil stuff would apply if you were trying to kill bacteria or viral material Head lice wash of smooth plastic brushes and combs very easily.

Also, for get all that nonsense about washing bedding and stuff... complete rubbish. Please read the articles below.
Wash them with the mover or stick them into the disinfect the same kind that they use in the salon or just throw them out and buy new ones.
That should be quite easy, just wash them good in real hot water and then boil them. If still in doubt about their cleanliness douse them good with alcohol.
if you dont wwant to throw them out....try to pull out all old hair and soak them in very very hot water.
Throw them out and buy new ones
throw them away
First Soak them in HOT Water with at least 1 cup of bleach for at least 15 minutes. Then clean them thoroughly removing all debris from the bristles. then allow them to dry and spray them with 70% rubbing alcohol. You can also purchase a disinfectant from a beauty supply store.
drown it with hair grease put bleach on them and then THROW THEM OUT!
You have to BOIL THEM for 3 minutes or more while its on boil. However if its on a plastic brush, you may as well get a new one, it may melt.
throw it away and buy a new one
Boil anything hard, like hairbrushes or clips, etc. Personally my best advice is to not take the chance and buy a new brush.
boil them
put them in very very hot water and let them sit there over night. It may get very hot the plastic will melt a little. But thats the best way or throw them out and get new ones.
when i had lice when i was younger my mom would boil the brush to kill the lice but i would be carfule with the boiling depending on what type of brush it is
Throw them out.
Buy a new one!
Throw them away and replace them.
I use the lice remover for dogs on my combs. Just let them have a very long bath. :) And just washing them with water won't work. Lice don't drown.
You boil them. You don't have to throw them out.
Not sure why you need to keep them, but you can use dry heat, like from a hair blow dryer.
I dono, it should kill lice but,I clen out the sray hairs and I clean my brushes in amonia and water (dont add bleach to amonia) by filling a 1/2 and 1/2 solution in a container large enough to hold all my brushes and comes...I do this once a week as it is, but it should kill bugs....Dont forget to rince them...
buy new ones. why take the chance of getting lice again?
Throw out all your brushes.
either buy new brushes, or soak them in bleach for a while, then wash them with hot soapy water. Not all brushes can hold up to that kind of treatment though, so good luck!
Trash em!
put out all the hair, then leave in hot water for a while and wash with shampoo and rinse thouroghly. should work.
Garbage can and the outside one at that.
